What currency do you charge in?

We charge in US Dollars (USD), even though we are based in the UK. Your credit card company will automatically convert the USD amount to your own currency on your card statement.

To get an estimate of how much your order will cost, you can use a currency conversion site such as xe.com. However, please note that the amount may vary slightly due to fluctuations in exchange rates.

Additionally, your credit card company may charge a cross-border surcharge, fee, or foreign transaction fee. This fee is usually very small, but we recommend contacting your credit card company to check their specific fees.

How quickly will I notice results?

The speed at which you notice results will vary depending on the download you are using, your individual needs, and your level of commitment to the process. Some people may notice results within a few days, while others may take weeks or even months to see a significant difference.

Here are some factors that can affect how quickly you notice results:

  • The download you are using: Different downloads are designed to address different issues and challenges. Some downloads may be more effective for certain people than others.
  • Your individual needs: Everyone is different, and everyone will respond to the downloads in their own unique way. Some people may be more susceptible to change than others.
  • Your level of commitment to the process: The downloads are a tool to help you achieve your goals, but they cannot do the work for you. You need to be committed to listening to the downloads regularly and practicing the techniques they teach.

The important thing is to be patient and consistent. With regular listening and practice, you will eventually achieve the results you are looking for.

How often should I listen to my download?

Frequency of listening

The frequency with which you listen to your download will depend on your individual needs. Some people find that they get the desired results after just one listen, while others continue to listen to their chosen download to reinforce the changes or simply because they enjoy the relaxation it brings.

General recommendation

As a general rule of thumb, we recommend listening to your session once a day for a week, and then as often as you feel you need to until you achieve the desired results. However, if you want to listen to it more than once a day, that’s perfectly fine!

After achieving desired results

Once you have achieved the results you were looking for, you can listen to the download occasionally whenever you feel like you need a “top-up” or simply want to relax.

How do I get to the Download Center to get my downloads?

  • Check your email. When you placed your order, you should have received an email from support@[calmlake.net] with the title “[your name], Your calmlake.net Order.” If you can’t find it in your inbox, check your spam or junk folders. If you still can’t find it, please contact us.
  • Click the link in the email. In the email, you’ll see a link below the text “If you ordered downloadable products, you can get them here.” Click on this link.
  • Follow the instructions in the Download Center. The Download Center has instructions to help you save your downloads or scripts to your computer. If you need more help, please see our FAQ.

Do you listen to your own downloads?

Yes, we do. I personally love listening to the relaxation downloads, especially House of Deep Rest. I also used self-hypnosis to overcome my fear of public speaking and spiders. We walk the talk! I often recommend that my clients listen to downloads as part of their treatment.
